Tyreek Hill Reportedly Tore ACL, More Ligaments, Dislocated Knee After Injury vs. Jets
More information emerged Tuesday regarding the severity of the knee injury Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill suffered during the team's 27-21 win over the New York Jets on Monday night.
It was initially reported that Hill dislocated his knee, and ESPN's Adam Schefter followed up by reporting that he also tore multiple ligaments in his knee, including his ACL.
An ACL tear means Hill's season is done, and he is set to undergo surgery on Tuesday, per Schefter.

According to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, the Dolphins are expected to sign Cedrick Wilson Jr. off the New Orleans Saints' practice squad to bolster Miami's depth at receiver.
Early in the third quarter of Monday's contest, Hill made a catch before getting tackled along the sidelines. As he was tackled, Hill's leg bent awkwardly underneath himself, and it was immediately clear that he had suffered a serious injury.
The 31-year-old veteran was trending toward having perhaps his best game of the season with six receptions for 67 yards and nearly a whole half of football left to play.
After recording over 1,700 receiving yards in each of his first two seasons in Miami, Hill's production dropped off last season to the tune of 81 receptions for 959 yards and six touchdowns.
However, Hill dealt with a wrist injury throughout the campaign, which may have been the culprit for his uncharacteristically ordinary numbers.
He appeared to be fully healthy this season, and he was on pace for well over 1,000 yards with 21 catches for 265 yards and one touchdown in four games.
After Miami held on to win Monday despite the devastating injury suffered by Hill, Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel told reporters that he felt the way Hill handled the situation helped keep the rest of the team calm and locked in, saying:
"I think it's giant. I saw him make eye contact and rip a joke or two to [Jaylen] Waddle and De'Von [Achane], and I think a lot of guys got back into the game, provoked by what he said verbally. We talked a lot about all the stuff that Tyreek has done this offseason, and a big portion is leading by example and connecting with his teammates, and he kind of utilized that connectivity to make sure that his team was finishing on the right end. He was inspiring in that situation, and I think his teammates benefited from that."
The Dolphins scored their first victory of the season on Monday, improving to 1-3, and now they will need some other offensive weapons to step up in Hill's absence.
Waddle is now the unquestioned No. 1 wideout for quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, while Achane is likely the most important player on the offense due to his ability to do damage as a runner and pass-catcher from the running back position.
Second-year man Malik Washington is perhaps the new No. 2 wide receiver with Nick Westbrook-Ikhine and Dee Eskridge also having a chance to see increased snaps.
Plus, veteran tight end Darren Waller could become a focal point after scoring two touchdowns Monday in what was his first game of the season.
Given their record and the absence of one of the most dynamic receivers in football, the Dolphins face an uphill climb the rest of the way, but they are still a talented team with a chance to get back in the playoff mix.
