Justin Fields to Start for Jets vs. Dolphins After Clearing Concussion Protocol
New York Jets quarterback Justin Fields is returning to the field for Monday's game against the Miami Dolphins.
Head coach Aaron Glenn announced on Saturday that Fields will start after clearing concussion protocol.
Fields was diagnosed with a concussion after the Jets' loss to the Buffalo Bills in Week 2.

He left the game with 12:03 remaining in the fourth quarter after taking a sack from Bills defensive end Joey Bosa.
Fields remained in concussion protocol for Week 3. Tyrod Taylor filled in for the team's loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Fields was seen participating in quarterback drills during Thursday's practice, which appeared to be in line with the non-contact football activities recommended by Stage 4 of the NFL's concussion protocol.
Stage 5, which is the final step before a player is fully cleared, involves examination by an independent neurological consultant outside the NFL.
Fields started out his Jets career by completing 72.7 percent of his passes for 218 yards and a touchdown, adding 48 yards and two touchdowns on the ground, in a Week 1 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
He struggled before his exit from the Week 2 matchup with the Bills, rushing for 49 yards but completing just three of 11 pass attempts for 27 yards and taking two sacks before leaving the game.
Taylor went 26-of-36 for 197 yards, two touchdowns and one interception through the air, while also adding 48 yards rushing against the Bucs.
The Jets will hope Fields is able to once more lean on his mobility while putting together a more consistent passing performance against a Dolphins team that is also reeling after losing their first three games of the season.
