NFL Icon Drew Brees Says He 'Can't Stand' Eagles' Offense, 'It's The Most Boring'
Legendary former NFL quarterback Drew Brees isn't a fan of the Philadelphia Eagles' offense.
"I respect Philly," Brees said during a Tuesday appearance on First Take (6:21 mark). "They are winning games, they're finding a way to win games. I can't stand to watch that offense. It's the most boring offense. It is."

Brees admitted that the Eagles can still "absolutely" win a Super Bowl despite his criticism of their offense, though.
Philadelphia currently sits atop the NFC East standings with a 3-0 record this season, although its offensive efficiency has taken a step back compared to 2024.
The Eagles haven't been able to consistently rack up explosive plays, as their average of 4.4 yards per play is tied for the fourth-lowest mark in the NFL through three weeks (via Pro Football Reference).
Jalen Hurts has completed 71.4 percent of his throws without getting picked off this year, but his average of 159.7 passing yards per game is his lowest since becoming a full-time starter in 2021.
Saquon Barkley is also looking to get on the right track, as the reigning Offensive Player of the Year has averaged a mere 3.3 yards per carry to open his 2025 campaign.
The Eagles have still been able to record 25.7 points on a weekly basis due to their effectiveness in the red zone, but Brees hasn't been impressed.
The 13-time Pro Bowl passer knows what it takes to lead a high-powered offense, ranking No. 2 on the NFL's all-time leaderboard for passing yards as well as passing touchdowns.
