Chiefs' Xavier Worthy Reportedly 'Looking Good' to Play Week 3 amid Shoulder Injury
Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy is "looking good" to suit up in the team's Week 3 matchup with the New York Giants, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Worthy is dealing with a fully torn labrum and is expected to wear a harness when he returns, per Rapoport.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
He suffered the injury after colliding with teammate Travis Kelce while running a route during Kansas City's season-opening 27-21 defeat at the hands of the Los Angeles Chargers.
Worthy was officially ruled out of the Chiefs' Week 2 clash with the Philadelphia Eagles on Saturday.
He was listed as a limited participant in practice on Thursday and Friday after he didn't make an appearance in Wednesday's session.
The Chiefs selected Worthy in the first round of the 2024 NFL draft, adding him with the No. 28 overall pick.
The 22-year-old put together an encouraging rookie season, reeling in 59 catches for 638 yards and six touchdowns. He also factored into Kansas City's rushing attack, picking up 104 yards and three scores on the ground while averaging 5.2 yards per attempt.
Worthy stepped up during the Chiefs' playoff run that ended with a Super Bowl loss to the Eagles, recording 19 receptions for 287 yards and three touchdowns in three postseason appearances.
It's a promising sign for Kansas City that Worthy appears to be trending towards playing in Week 3, as the team's depth at wide receiver is already thin.
Rashee Rice is currently serving a six-game suspension for violating the NFL's personal conduct policy, while 2025 fourth-round pick Jalen Royals will miss the Chiefs' matchup with Philadelphia due to a knee injury.
As Kansas City attempts to avoid its first 0-2 start since 2014, Worthy seems to be making progress in his recovery.
