Cowboys' DaRon Bland Reportedly Could Be Out Multiple Weeks with Foot Injury
The Dallas Cowboys may be shorthanded at cornerback for multiple games after DaRon Bland reportedly suffered a foot injury.
ESPN's Todd Archer reported Wednesday that Bland suffered a right foot injury during Monday's practice that could sideline him "for a couple of weeks."
Nick Harris of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reported Bland was seen wearing a boot in the team's facility Wednesday.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Any injury is reason for concern considering the cornerback missed 10 games in 2024 with a foot fracture. Yet that didn't stop the Cowboys from signing him to a four-year, $92 million contract extension this offseason.
When healthy and on the field, the Fresno State product has been a key piece of Dallas' secondary since the NFC East team selected him in the fifth round of the 2022 NFL draft.
Bland had five interceptions as a rookie in 2022 and was then a First-Team All-Pro selection and Pro Bowler in his second season. He also finished fifth in Defensive Player of the Year voting that season behind 69 tackles, a league-best nine interceptions and 15 passes defended. What's more, he returned five of those interceptions for touchdowns.
Injuries undercut his efforts to build on that incredible second season, and he is dealing with yet another physical setback early in the 2025 campaign.
The timing is less than ideal for a Dallas team looking to avoid an 0-2 start in division games after losing its season opener to the Philadelphia Eagles. Next up is a game against Malik Nabers and the New York Giants, which figures to test the secondary.
After that, the Cowboys face fellow NFC teams in the Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers during a stretch that may see them without Bland.
