Travis Hunter Joins Heisman House in Video After Winning Trophy with Colorado in 2024

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver/cornerback Travis Hunter was welcomed into the Nissan Heisman House in a video posted three days after his two-way NFL debut.

Pro Football Hall of Famer Barry Sanders handed Hunter his official Heisman House portrait in the latest video from the ad campaign.

Hunter was also featured in the first commercial from this year's Heisman House campaign on Sept. 9.

The campaign's initial video featured former Heisman Trophy winners including Robert Griffin III, Tim Tebow and Baker Mayfield getting ready to move out of the house and begin a road trip.

Hunter won the 2024 Heisman Trophy after succeeding at both wide receiver and cornerback at Colorado. His No. 12 jersey was retired after he left Boulder.

The Jaguars then traded up to select Hunter with the No. 2 pick of the draft in the hope of deploying him as a two-way player at the next level.

Hunter went on to become the first player in 20 seasons to record at least five receptions and five defensive snaps in the same game while making his NFL debut in Sunday's regular-season opener against the Carolina Panthers, per NFL on CBS.

He ultimately spent most of his time on offense during the Jaguars' 26-10 win over the Panthers, taking 42 offensive snaps to just six on defense, per Pro Football Reference. The rookie finished the night with six receptions for 33 yards as well as a tackle.

Hunter said after the game that he could "do more" in the future, while ESPN's Adam Schefter previously reported that the Jags' game plan for Hunter could change from week to week. Last year's Heisman Trophy winner could potentially take on an even larger role on both sides of the ball when the Jaguars return to action Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals.
