The Weirdest Food Items at NFL Stadiums in 2025
There's a symbiotic relationship between social media and the increasingly bizarre food offerings at major league sports stadiums. The weirder the food, the more people post about it; the more people post about it, the more money teams make on concessions.
In recent years, largely thanks to TikTok, the weird-food universe has expanded dramatically. Ahead of the 2025 season, fans can find items like an ice cream sundae built on a bed of Fritos, a burrito with an ice cream core wrapped entirely in cotton candy, and a griddled Uncrustable topped with fried chicken.
If you want to know more about these culinary curiosities and the NFL stadiums that have borne them, keep on reading.
Detroit Lions: Spin Dash Combo
1 of 16.jpg)
At the Lions' home opener at Ford Field this season, fans will be able to try a new meal combo in honor of running back Jahmyr Gibbs. The Spin Dash Burger combines two of Gibbs' favorite foods: burgers and pizza. The smashburger is topped with pizza sauce, mozzarella cheese and pizza seasoning.
The combo also gets you golden ring tater tots and Honolulu Blue Sour Patch Kids—the latter being Gibbs' favorite flavor, of course.
The Spin Dash Combo is available in Sections 100 and 120.
Chicago Bears: Odunze Dog
2 of 16.jpg)
The Lions aren't the only team taking culinary inspiration from a current player.
Soldier Field's Odunze Dog debuted in 2024 in honor of first-round draft pick Rome Odunze and is a weird food item double-whammy. It is notable not only for being named after a current player but for the ingredients of the dog itself.
The Odunze Dog features a jalapeño-cheddar dog over a bed of Italian beef, topped with hot giardiniera, cheddar cheese crumbles and a "secret sauce" in a French roll.
It's the answer to a classic Chicago dilemma: Why choose between an Italian beef and a hot dog when you can have both?
Los Angeles Rams: Stromboli Dog
3 of 16.jpg)
If you ever find yourself unable to choose between a pizza puff and a hot dog, SoFi Stadium has you covered.
While the Rams can boast some of the most diverse food in the league (think: sushi, poke nachos and chicharrónes), the weirdest has to be the Stromboli Dog, which features a hot dog covered in melty mozzarella and pepperoni and wrapped in a flaky pastry—served with marinara sauce on the side.
This cuisine-spanning dog can be found in Sections 205, 314, 340, 416 and 445.
Denver Broncos: Jackalope Mac Stack
4 of 16
Without question, Empower Field at Mile High has the most unique meat offering among NFL stadiums this season.
The Jackalope Mac Stack is a sausage composed of smoked antelope, rabbit, and pork. As if that weren't wild enough, it's topped with Flamin' Hot Cheetos dust, green chili mac, blue corn tortilla and green onion.
If that sounds like something you'd be into, you can find it in Section 128.
Arizona Cardinals: Cotton Candy Burrito
5 of 16.jpg)
The now-infamous Cotton Candy Burrito made its State Farm Stadium debut in 2024, but it's still going strong heading into this season.
The curious confection consists of a cotton candy–ice cream core featuring Fruity Pebbles, Froot Loops, marshmallows, Skittles, mini M&M's, gummy bears and sprinkles, all wrapped in an electric-blue or bubblegum-pink cotton candy exterior.
Previously available only at the club level, the burrito can now be found at the eponymous Cotton Candy Burrito Cart in Sections 137 and 435 as well as at Sweet Nest in Sections 222 and 247.
Green Bay Packers: Brat Egg Roll
6 of 16.jpg)
Appropriately, there is no shortage of ways to consume a brat at Lambeau Field. Why simply serve it on a bun when you could have brat nachos (bratchos), brat crumbled on top of a loaded pretzel, brat smothered in sauerkraut slaw or even…brat egg rolls?
An achievement in fusion cuisine, Lambeau's Brat Egg Roll features crumbled brats, Green and Gold fajita mix, cheese curds and cream cheese, all fried up in an egg roll wrapper. The menu item actually debuted in 2024 but was such a fan favorite that it returned for this season.
Brat egg rolls are $12.00 and available at Johnsonville Tailgate Village.
Kansas City Chiefs: Uncrustable Crunch
7 of 16
NFL players love Uncrustables. The Athletic estimated that teams go through at least 80,000 of the pre-packaged PB&Js per year.
The NFL player who loves Uncrustables the most just may be Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, who said on his New Heights podcast that he eats Uncrustables "more than anything else in the world."
That was the inspiration behind one of the Chiefs' new concessions for the 2025 season: the Uncrustable Crunch. It's a griddled Strawberry Uncrustable topped with fried chicken bites and sour apple slaw, and it may win out as the most creative new item of the year at any NFL stadium.
The Uncrustable Crunch can be found at Arrowhead Street Eats, Section 103.
Atlanta Falcons: Hot Dog
8 of 16.jpg)
Why would the hot dog at Mercedes-Benz Stadium make the list of weirdest food items at NFL stadiums? It is, after all, simply a hot dog. It has none of the wacky toppings you'll see at other stadiums; no Italian beef, cream cheese, or stromboli (see: Los Angeles Rams) here.
No, this hot dog makes the list because of its price tag: $2, which stands in stark contrast to the rest of the league's offerings. NFL aggregator Dov Kleiman shared a list of the price of a hot dog at every NFL stadium in 2025; the Falcons' dog is the cheapest by more than a dollar, whereas the hot dog at Buffalo's Highmark Stadium will set you back a painful $11.25.
On average, an NFL game-day dog costs $7.02, making the Falcons' offering a certified white whale. It joins the $3 nachos, $2 pretzel and $2 soda on the famously affordable Mercedes-Benz stadium concessions lineup.
Indianapolis Colts: Buffalo Chicken Caesar Meatball Sub
9 of 16.jpg)
Is it a Caesar salad? A meatball sub? A chicken sandwich? Yes.
Chicken Caesar wraps have been having a moment in 2025, starring in viral TikTok videos across the country. So the Colts are onto something with their new offering for 2025, which features buffalo chicken meatballs and creamy Caesar slaw, "all hugged by a soft 8-inch hoagie roll" (their words, not ours).
Is this item truly weirder than the Ringer, the footlong corn dog covered in honey and blue Taki crumbs? At the end of the day, the latter is just a tricked-out corndog. The Buffalo Chicken Caesar Meatball Sub ultimately wins out for how many distinct meals it stitches together, like a stadium-fodder Frankenstein's monster.
The Buffalo Chicken Caesar Meatball Sub can be found in Sections 326 and 527 at Lucas Oil Stadium.
Baltimore Ravens: Crab Pretzel
10 of 16.jpg)
In 2023, the most recent year for which data is available, the state of Maryland produced approximately 27,280,000 pounds of blue crabs. So it's no surprise that the most unique offering at M&T Bank Stadium would incorporate the state's cherished crustacean.
The Crab Pretzel entered the M&T Bank Stadium concessions lineup in 2024. The pretzel itself, while shaped like a crab, is not stuffed with crab meat; that comes in the form of a dip served on the side.
To locate this eye-catching entrée, download the Ravens app for an M&T Bank Stadium vendor directory.
Houston Texans: Hot Honey Chicken Funnel Cake Fries
11 of 16.jpg)
Seeing a game at NRG Stadium and prefer to limit how many times you leave your seat for a snack run? Why not combine your lunch/dinner and dessert into one entrée?
Reminiscent of chicken and waffles, the Hot Honey Chicken Funnel Cake Fries see tempura chicken tossed in a hot honey garlic sauce and white queso get served on top of funnel cake fries.
The funnel cake fries can be found in Sections 101, 121, 520 and 546.
Buffalo Bills: Waffle Fry Battle Boat
12 of 16.jpg)
As we've already established, do not head to Highmark Stadium planning to buy a hot dog unless you hate the concept of "value." Plus, at Highmark, you have the opportunity to take down the NFL's largest food item. Why pass that up?
The Waffle Fry Battle Boat is a two-foot tray of waffle fries. One half is topped with Buffalo staples, while the other half features ingredients inspired by the visiting team. (Think: crab dip for Baltimore or Kansas City–style BBQ.)
It debuted in the Wild Card Game against the Pittsburgh Steelers in January 2024 under the name "Stampede Fries" and became "Bad Blood Waffle Fries" in the divisional-round game against the Chiefs before returning for the 2024–25 season in its current iteration.
This monster concoction will run you $28. But if you think about it, that's only $1.17 per inch of food, compared with $1.87 for the hot dog, after which you'll still be hungry.
Carolina Panthers: the Masked Bandit
13 of 16.jpg)
To get out ahead of this, no, the Masked Bandit sandwich does not contain actual raccoon meat. The name comes from the roll, which is colored vaguely like a raccoon's fur. But more importantly, it's a nod to wide receiver Xavier Legette and his, uh, exotic tastes.
After Christmas 2024, Legette returned to the locker room toting a Tupperware containing his holiday leftovers: raccoon meat. Though the choice of protein shocked some fans, it's worth noting that consuming raccoon meat is not uncommon in the Carolinas.
The Masked Bandit sandwich is actually brisket, topped with Carolina coleslaw, melted cheddar cheese and BBQ sauce.
Minnesota Vikings: Minnesota Lao Brat
14 of 16
Minnesota is home to the third-largest population of Laotian Americans in the U.S., and their cultural influence is reflected in the Vikings' newest menu item.
U.S. Bank Stadium's new Lao bratwurst is topped with pickled cabbage and carrot slaw, sour & spicy sauce, chicharrónes, mint and Thai basil and served on a brioche bun.
The Lao brat can be found at the Von Hanson Brat Carts in Sections 130 and 317.
Cincinnati Bengals: Spaetzle
15 of 16The bar for weird food is high in a city that puts chili on its spaghetti. And while Cincinnati's large German population isn't likely to bat an eye at the spaetzle on offer at Paycor Stadium, it's not a dish frequently found in NFL arenas.
The egg pasta is a staple hailing from Central Europe, and Paycor has put its own twist on the dish, topping it with goetta bites (a regional specialty, essentially ground pork and/or beef and oats) beer cheese, red cabbage, apple cider vinegar and whole grain mustard.
Dallas Cowboys: Fritos Sundae
16 of 16.jpg)
In our extremely scientific Weird Food rankings criteria, foods that combine savory and sweet are weighted more heavily. Thus, while AT&T Stadium has a few off-the-wall offerings, including the Pizza Burger (a 16-ounce patty sandwiched between two pepperoni pizzas), the Fritos Sundae represents the true spirit of what weird food is all about.
This dish not only combines a savory snack (Fritos) and a dessert (ice cream), but from a marketing perspective, it's an ingenious way for the Cowboys to activate with two of their corporate partners (Frito-Lay and Blue Bell).
This audacious dessert can be found in Sections 227, 232, 254, 219 and 245 as well as the Pepsi Platform.
