For the Bills, Allen finished completing 33-of-46 passes for 394 yards and two touchdowns while rushing for another two and adding 30 yards on the ground. James Cook added 102 total yards with one touchdown.
Jackson and Henry delivered a dominant opening performance, but it was ultimately overshadowed by a late-game collapse, as Allen and the Bills stormed back from 15-down to steal the win.
The Bills opened with a 50-yard touchdown drive to take an early 7-0 lead, but the Ravens answered with a nearly eight-minute possession capped by a Tyler Loop field goal, cutting the deficit to 7-3 after the first quarter.
Offenses exploded in the second. Jackson connected with Henry for a touchdown, then rushed in another after a Bills three-and-out to give Baltimore a 17-7 lead. Buffalo responded with two field goals, while the Ravens added one of their own to lead 20-13 at halftime.
Jackson kept the momentum going after the break with a touchdown pass to Flowers, but Buffalo stayed close, cutting the deficit to 27-19. Jackson then found Hopkins for another score at the end of the third, giving Baltimore a 34-19 lead heading into the final 15 minutes.
The Bills scored on their opening drive of the fourth quarter, but the Ravens answered with Henry's second touchdown of the night to extend the lead back to 15. Just when it seemed Baltimore had the game in hand, the Bills responded with a quick touchdown to cut the deficit to eight, then forced the game's first turnover — a fumble by Henry — setting up an Allen touchdown. However, Buffalo failed to convert the two-point attempt, keeping the Ravens in front by two.
The Bills forced a three-and-out, then marched down the field in nine plays before newcomer Matt Prater sealed the win with a 32-yard field goal — closing out the final opening night game at Highmark Stadium in dramatic fashion.
The Ravens will host the Cleveland Browns next Sunday, after the Browns narrowly lost 17-16 to the Cincinnati Bengals.
