Livvy Dunne Attends 2025 MTV VMAs Red Carpet on Video, Introduces Lola Young on Stage

Andrew PetersSep 7, 2025

Livvy Dunne might be done with gymnastics, but the former LSU star is staying busy.

Dunne appeared on the red carpet at the MTV VMAs on Sunday, where she also introduced pop star Lola Young before her performance as one of the "feature breakout stars who are all making their VMA debut."

Dunne also revealed in an interview that she has moved to New York City and is closing on an apartment.

Living in New York means she'll have to make a long trip to see her boyfriend, Pittsburgh Pirates star Paul Skenes, pitch, but New York is probably the place to be as Dunne continues her business ventures.

Dunne's first attempt to buy an apartment in New York didn't go so well, as she tried to purchase Babe Ruth's former dwelling but was denied by the building's co-op board.

"Honestly, it wasn't financial," she said. "It could have been, for all I know, they could have been Alabama fans and I went to LSU. Maybe they didn't want a public figure living there, but I was literally supposed to get the keys and that week they denied me."

Nonetheless, it appears she has found a place in the Big Apple now, but Pirates fans are hoping she won't convince Skenes to join her in New York when he hits free agency.
