NFL Reportedly Plans to Review Jalen Carter, Dak Prescott Spit Video for Discipline
The spitting incident between Jalen Carter and Dak Prescott early in Thursday's game between the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles will be reviewed by the NFL.
On Friday's episode of Good Morning Football, NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reported the league will review the situation to determine if any potential discipline is warranted for Carter or Prescott.

When the Cowboys were in the huddle after the opening kickoff, Carter spat on Prescott during a brief back-and-forth between the two. The Eagles' defensive tackle was assessed an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty and ejected from the game.
looked like Carter initiated the situation, but there was a camera angle that showed Prescott spitting in the direction of where Carter was standing.
Prescott clearly tilted his head toward the ground and was in the huddle when he did it, so it's hard to read malicious intent into that moment. He explained after the game that he was talking to right guard Tyler Booker and had to spit.
Carter, thinking the spit was aimed at him, responded by approaching Prescott.
Pelissero noted Carter effectively served a one-game suspension since he was ejected before an offensive snap was taken. The league could have leniency as far as additional discipline goes since he didn't really get a chance to play on Thursday.
It was also pointed out by Pelissero that Prescott is unlikely to face any discipline because there's no rule about spitting in the direction of an opposing player when you are several yards away from them.
The Eagles missed Carter's presence on their defensive line in the game. They failed to record a sack on Prescott and allowed 119 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 22 carries.
Philadelphia was able to steal a 24-20 win over its NFC East rival and can presumably look forward to having Carter back in the middle of the defensive line for next week's marquee matchup with the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium.
