Syko Stu Released from Hospital, Reveals Injuries After Raja Jackson's KO of Wrestler

Doric SamAug 31, 2025

A Facebook post on the account of Stuart Smith, a wrestler known as Syko Stu, announced that he's going home from the hospital following his incident with MMA legend Rampage Jackson's son, Raja, per TMZ.

Smith revealed in his Facebook post that he sustained a serious head injury, lost several teeth and is recovering from trauma to both his upper and lower jaws, a laceration on the upper lip and a fracture to the maxilla bone.

In a viral video from last Saturday's independent event for Knokx Pro Wrestling, Raja Jackson was seen slamming Smith to the mat before punching him repeatedly. Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp reported that the original slam was planned by Smith and Jackson, but Jackson went off-script with the subsequent punches. TMZ reported that the Los Angeles Police Department is investigating the incident, though no arrests have been made.

Smith's post, which was written with his wife Contessa Patterson, said that he "has a long road of recovery ahead," but he "remains in good spirits despite everything he has been through."

In a social media post following the incident, Rampage Jackson said his son had recently suffered a concussion and should not have been participating in any physical activity at the event. There was a video of an argument between Raja and Smith in which Smith hit him on the side of the head with an empty beer can, though Smith was later seen apologizing to him.

This incident has been condemned by wrestlers across multiple promotions, so it can be expected that there will be more caution going forward when working with outside talents.
