Fantasy Football 2025 Cheat Sheet and Mobile, Printable Rankings for Mock Drafts

Erik BeastonAug 31, 2025

Like the NFL season, the fantasy football year is upon us and as a result, managers in leagues around the globe will be looking to compile the best teams possible, with the most prolific position players in the game.

Ahead of your upcoming draft, find out who tops each position and which sleepers could prove to be difference makers on your team, with this preview, including printable rankings.

Quarterback Rankings

1 of 4
Bengals Commanders Football

The top 10 best quarterbacks for the upcoming fantasy season are:

  1. Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens
  2. Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills
  3. Joe Burrow, Cincinnati Bengals
  4. Jayden Daniels, Washington Commanders
  5. Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia Eagles
  6. Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs
  7. Bo Nix, Denver Broncos
  8. Baker Mayfield, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
  9. Dak Prescott, Dallas Cowboys
  10. Brock Purdy, San Francisco 49ers

Sleeper: Matthew Stafford

There are plenty of reasons to be hesitant with Stafford in fantasy this season. Last year, he finished 19th among quarterbacks and the talk of the preseason was an injured back that some were convinced would keep him out of action.

That he is 37 years old and likely only has a couple of high-performance seasons left in him, and a body that has taken a ton of punishment over the years, only creates more questions about his ability to perform at a high level for managers this year.

With that said, Stafford has a solid offensive line, two legitimate playmakers at wide receiver in Puka Nacua and Davante Adams, a Pro Browl-worthy running back in Kyren Williams, one of the most inventive offensive-minded head coaches in the league, and a willingness to make plays for his team.

Will he put up video game numbers like Jackson and Allen? No.

Will he have the sheer number of passing opportunities that Burrow does? No.

But Stafford can still sling the ball around and with his two big, physical receivers on the periphery, and the lightning quick Tutu Atwell in the slot, do not be surprised to see the former No. 1 overall pick re-emerge as a top-tier fantasy quarterback in 2025.

Running Back Rankings

The top 15 running backs for the fantasy season are:

  1. Jahmyr Gibbs, Detroit Lions
  2. Bijan Robinson, Atlanta Falcons
  3. Christian McCaffrey, San Francisco 49ers
  4. Saquon Barkley, Philadelphia Eagles
  5. Derrick Henry, Baltimore Ravens
  6. Ashton Jeanty, Las Vegas Raiders
  7. Bucky Irving, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
  8. Josh Jacobs, Green Bay Packers
  9. Jonathan Taylor, Indianapolis Colts
  10. De'Von Achane, Miami Dolphins
  11. Kyren Williams, Los Angeles Rams
  12. Chase Brown, Cincinnati Bengals
  13. Alvin Kamara, New Orleans Saints
  14. Omarian Hampton, Los Angeles Chargers
  15. James Cook, Buffalo Bills

Sleeper: Jacory Croskey-Merritt, Washington Commanders

The Commanders traded away Brian Robinson to San Francisco, opening up an opportunity rookie Croskey-Merritt to take on a greater role in the team's offense this upcoming season.

He totaled 18 carries for 70 yards and a touchdown while adding three receptions.

Austin Ekeler is the lead back in Washington, but he has a history of injury, including last season when he missed five games. In his eight seasons, he has only played every game four times.

If that trend continues, it will open the door for the seventh-round pick to see time as the lead back. His quick burst and pass-catching ability out of the backfield make him a legitimate sleeper candidate, and someone managers with enough foresight to draft him in the late rounds could celebrate a league victory because of.

Wide Receiver Rankings

3 of 4
Steelers Jaguars Football

Top 15 rankings for the wide receiver position are:

  1. Ja'Marr Chase, Cincinnati Bengals
  2. Justin Jefferson, Minnesota Vikings
  3. CeeDee Lamb, Dallas Cowboys
  4. Amon-Ra St. Brown, Detroit Lions
  5. Nico Collins, Houston Texans
  6. Malik Nabers, New York Giants
  7. Brian Thomas Jr., Jacksonville Jaguars
  8. Puka Nacua, Los Angeles Rams
  9. AJ Brown, Philadelphia Eagles
  10. Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Seattle Seahawks
  11. Ladd McConkey, Los Angeles Chargers
  12. Tee Higgins, Cincinnati Bengals
  13. Garrett Wilson, New York Jets
  14. Drake London, Atlanta Falcons
  15. Tyreek Hill, Miami Dolphins

Sleeper: Matthew Golden, Green Bay Packers

Golden never eclipsed 1,000 yards receiving during his time at the University of Texas but what he flashed on tape was enough to earn him the attention of the Green Bay Packers at the No. 23 spot in this year's draft.

It is not difficult to see why, either.

The Packers have inconsistencies up and down their wide receiver roster, lineup with depth but no real star or player who has emerged as No. 1, which means Golden will have opportunities to impact the offense.

The continued evolution of starting quarterback Jordan Love, coupled with head coach Matt LaFleur's desire to have a wide open offense, should benefit the rookie and may very well have him sniffing the top 15 at his position by the time the season comes to a close.

Tight End Rankings

4 of 4
Vikings Rams Football

Top 10 rankings for tight ends in 2025 are:

  1. Brock Bowers, Las Vegas Raiders
  2. George Kittle, San Francisco 49ers
  3. Trey McBride, Arizona Cardinals
  4. Sam LaPorta, Detroit Lions
  5. David Njoku, Cleveland Browns
  6. TJ Hockenson, Minnesota Vikings
  7. Travis Kelce, Kansas City Chiefs
  8. Evan Engram, Denver Broncos
  9. Mark Andrews, Baltimore Ravens
  10. Tyler Warren, Indianapolis Colts

Sleeper: Zach Ertz, Washingon Commanders

Ertz was the eight-best fantasy tight end a season ago, when he finished with 66 catches for 654 yards and seven touchdowns. In his age 34 season, it is natural for some managers to look at the aging player and think there is bound to be a fall off incoming, but nothing about his play suggests that is the case.

In his final two games of the 2024 regular season, he caught 11 balls for 116 yards and three touchdowns, suggesting that the former Philadelphia Eagle and Arizona Cardinal actually got better as the year went.

Throw in a postseason touchdown and you have a player who was key to the Commanders success down the stretch, and into their deep playoff run. Barring any sort of significant injury, there is no reason to believe that will not be the case this season as quarterback Jayden Daniels continues to lean on him in year two.
