CeeDee Lamb, Trevon Diggs, More Cowboys Players React to Shocking Micah Parsons Trade
Dallas Cowboys players aren't happy Micah Parsons is no longer their teammate.
Dallas announced Thursday it traded the star pass-rusher to the Green Bay Packers for first-round draft picks in 2026 and 2027, as well as defensive tackle Kenny Clark. The stunning move drew some reactions from Parsons' former teammates:

This was the culmination of back-and-forth throughout the offseason.
It reached a point that Parsons requested a trade earlier this month and wrote, in part, "I no longer want to be held to close door negotiations without my agent present. I no longer want shots taken at me for getting injured while laying it on the line for the organization our fans and my teammates. I no longer want narratives created and spread to the media about me."
Even that drew a response from Lamb, who wanted team owner Jerry Jones to pay the Penn State product:
Further developments included Jones appearing on Michael Irvin's YouTube show and saying Parsons' agent, David Mulugheta, "told us to stick it up our ass" when the team made an offer. However, ESPN's Ryan Clark reported Mulugheta denied saying that.
The end result was the Cowboys trading one of the best players in the entire league to a fellow NFC team that is now in a better position to challenge for a Super Bowl title.
Parsons has four Pro Bowls and two First-Team All-Pro selections through four seasons and has posted at least 12 sacks every year he has been in the league. By comparison, nobody on Green Bay had more than 7.5 sacks throughout the 2024 campaign.
This is a massive move that shifts some of the power in the NFC, and Parsons' former teammates appear to know it.
