Giants' Malik Nabers Talks Russell Wilson Connection, 'Been on the Same Page A Lot'

Andrew PetersAug 27, 2025

New York Giants star wide receiver Malik Nabers is clicking well with his new quarterback.

Nabers said that, so far, he and Russell Wilson have synced well in practice.

"We've been on the same page a lot," Nabers said, per ESPN's Jordan Raanan. "That connection is going to keep growing. It can never be as great as we want it to be, but it's going to be as good as we hope it's going to be. But we continue to still get work, try to get those catches in and out. But the relationship has been going good."

Nabers is coming off an outstanding rookie season in which he hauled in 109 receptions and 1,204 yards, both numbers being top-10 in the NFL, along with seven touchdowns in 15 games.

He recorded those numbers despite the fact that the Giants used three different quarterbacks throughout the year in Daniel Jones, Drew Lock and Tommy DeVito.

If Nabers can find that kind of success without having much of a connection with the person under center, there's no telling what he might be capable of if he and Wilson are on the same page this year.
