Shilo Sanders Punching Bills' Zach Davidson Is 'Inexcusable,' Bucs' Todd Bowles Says
Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Todd Bowles said it was "inexcusable" for rookie safety Shilo Sanders to throw a punch at Buffalo Bills tight end Zach Davidson during their preseason game on Saturday.
"You can't throw punches in this league," Bowles said. "That was inexcusable. They're gonna get you every time."

The incident happened in the second quarter of the Bills' 23-19 road win. Davidson was finishing a block downfield, held onto Sanders and notably got his hand into the Buc's facemask. Sanders took exception and threw a punch at the Bills player. Officials caught the act and immediately ejected him from the game.
Sanders is trying to make the Buccaneers' 53-man roster. Two writers who cover the Bucs predicted Sanders to land on the practice squad (Scott Reynolds of the Pewter Report, JC Allen for Tampa Bay Buccaneers on SI).
Sanders' act certainly didn't curry favor with his coaches, although it's certainly possible his body of work has done him enough to at least make the practice squad.
Sanders joined the Bucs as an undrafted free agent out of Colorado, where he had 137 tackles, an 80-yard pick six and five forced fumbles during his two years with the Buffaloes.
