Daniels is the 10th member of the star-studded 2024 draft class to make the top 100. He joins Brock Bowers, Quinyon Mitchell, Cooper DeJean, Brian Thomas Jr., Ladd McConkey, Jared Verse, Malik Nabers, Bo Nix and Brian Thomas Jr.
The Commanders used the No. 2 overall pick last year on Daniels with the hope he could stabilize the most important position the field. Things worked out better than the franchise could have imagined in year one.
Daniels set an NFL record for most combined passing and rushing yards by a rookie, including the postseason. He led the Commanders to 12 wins, their most in a season since 1991, and the NFC Championship Game.
In three playoff games (all on the road), Daniels threw for 822 yards, ran for 135 yards and accounted for six touchdowns.
Crosby is the second member of the Raiders on the list, joining Bowers (No. 24). This is his fourth consecutive appearance on the top 100, though he did drop 12 spots from the 2024 list primarily due to injuries that kept him out for five games.
When Crosby was on the field last season, he looked as dominant as ever. The 28-year-old had the same number of quarterback hits (20) as the next two players on the Raiders combined (Tyree Wilson and Adam Butler).
Crosby finished tied for sixth in tackles for loss (17) despite only played in 12 games.
Optimism is high for the Raiders entering 2025 thanks to the addition of Pete Carroll as head coach and Geno Smith at quarterback, but they need a healthy Crosby on the defensive line if they hope to make a push for the playoffs in a loaded AFC West.
