Ravens' John Harbaugh Says 'Prayers Do Get Answered' After Lamar Jackson Avoids Injury
Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh is understandably relieved that quarterback Lamar Jackson will be fine after X-rays on his foot were negative.
Jackson, a two-time NFL MVP who nearly won a third last year before finishing as runner-up to Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen, is an invaluable member of the Ravens.

Last year, Jackson completed 66.7 percent of his passes for 4,172 yards (8.8 yards per attempt), 41 touchdowns and just four interceptions. He led the NFL in passer rating, QBR and yards per attempt. Jackson also rushed for 915 yards and four touchdowns.
The three-time First Team All-Pro has also led the Ravens to a 70-24 record in his 94 starts since his 2018 rookie season.
On Wednesday, Jackson's foot was stepped on during a practice. Per Ravens editorial director Ryan Mink, Jackson left practice with team physicians. Thankfully, the X-ray turned out OK, and Harbaugh said "there's no damage or anything like that."
Jackson sat Thursday's practice, but "he's fine," per Harbaugh.
"I'm sure it's a little sore today so we just kept him in, but he's fine," Harbaugh said.
Jackson and the Ravens begin the 2025 season on Sept. 7, with a Sunday Night Football game at the Buffalo Bills.
