Often, the scouting process can be very tricky. A player with all of the tools may not put it together in the pros, while others who seemingly lack a lot of raw upside manage to surpass all expectations.

Then there are players such as Bowers. Anybody who watched him during his three years at Georgia knew he was going to make an impact in the NFL.

The No. 13 overall pick in the 2024 draft, he caught 112 passes for 1,194 yards and five touchdowns for the Raiders. No rookie had more catches, and he trailed only the Jacksonville Jaguars' Brian Thomas Jr. and New York Giants' Malik Nabers in yards.

ESPN's Jeremy Fowler ranked Bowers as the best tight end in the league based on the input he received from people around the NFL. It was the first time anybody climbed to the top of Fowler's positional groups after just one season.

Nobody will argue tight end is the most valuable position on the field, and it may turn out the Raiders could've had more bang for their buck from their 2024 first-round pick. In Bowers, they at least found somebody who can be a focal point of the passing game for a long time to come.

With Johnson, his status as an elite blocker wasn't in doubt. He's a six-time Pro Bowler and two-time All-Pro, and this is the fourth time he has been included in the Top 100 ranking.

It's not as though just any running back could slot into Philly's backfield and run for 2,000 yards. Having Johnson anchor the right side of the line undoubtedly helped Saquon Barkley enter that exclusive club, though.

The Eagles also have Jordan Mailata, the No. 69 overall player opposite Johnson at left tackle. They ranked fifth and 14th, respectively, in ESPN's pass-block win rate among tackles, while Johnson was fifth-best in run-block win rate, too.

The 35-year-old isn't going anywhere considering he's signed through 2028. As long as he stays healthy, Philadelphia should continue to have one of the top offensive lines for the next few seasons.
