Vikings WRs Jordan Addison, Tai Felton Reportedly 'Fine' After Injuries at Practice
Minnesota Vikings wide receivers Jordan Addison and Tai Felton reportedly are in good shape after dealing with injuries during Wednesday's practice.
Per ESPN's Kevin Seifert, the two receivers "are fine" and will have "no issues going forward." Seifert noted that both Addison and Felton had walked off the field with apparent arm injuries. Felton had a wrap on his left hand.
Addison is entering his third NFL season and recorded 63 receptions for 875 yards and nine touchdowns a year ago. While Addison is seemingly injury-free following Wednesday's practice, he will miss the first three games of the season while he faces a suspension for violating the league's substance abuse policy.
That will leave Minnesota without its No. 2 receiver for contests against the Chicago Bears, Atlanta Falcons and Cincinnati Bengals to start the year.
The Vikings picked up Felton in the third round of this year's NFL draft. Felton spent four seasons at Maryland and had a breakout year in 2024, recording 1,124 yards and nine touchdowns.
No serious injuries to Addison and Felton are good news considering the Vikings' recent stretch of injury luck.
Earlier this month, wide receiver Rondale Moore suffered a season-ending knee injury in Minnesota's preseason matchup with the Houston Texans. Jalen Nailor is currently week-to-week with a hand injury.
Luckily for the Vikings, star receiver Justin Jefferson returned to practice this week after dealing with a hamstring injury.
With the recent injuries at the receiver position, Minnesota reportedly is thinking about bolstering the group. NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reported Wednesday that the Vikings "are seriously exploring veteran receivers in the trade market."
