Gabe Davis Reportedly Expected to Visit Bills amid Steelers Rumors
Seeking depth at wide receiver before the start of the regular season, the Buffalo Bills could pursue a reunion with Gabe Davis.
Per NFL insider Jordan Schultz, Davis is expected to visit with the Bills at some point this week after his scheduled meeting with the Pittsburgh Steelers on Tuesday.
The Bills haven't aggressively tried to fill out their receiver room since the start of the 2024 season. They did draft Keon Coleman with the No. 33 pick in the 2024 draft after trading Stefon Diggs to the Houston Texans.

Coleman is the only receiver the Bills have drafted in the first three rounds since 2017 when Zay Jones was a second-round selection.
Buffalo seemed to be taking a quantity over quality approach this offseason. Joshua Palmer, Elijah Moore, Laviska Shenault Jr. and Kristian Wilkerson were all signed as free agents.
Palmer, Coleman and Khalil Shakir are slotted in as the top three wideouts for the Bills entering this season.
Per Spotrac, the Bills rank 17th among all 32 teams in cash spending at the receiver position going into the 2025 campaign.
Curtis Samuel, who has been mentioned as a potential trade or cut candidate with the deadline for 53-man rosters to be finalized approaching, is Buffalo's highest-paid receiver with a $9.1 million salary.
Davis was released by the Jacksonville Jaguars in May with the failed physical designation. The 26-year-old played just 10 games last season due to a torn meniscus in his left knee.
Before signing a three-year, $39 million deal with the Jaguars as a free agent in March 2024, Davis started his career with the Bills. He was a fourth-round draft pick in 2020 and appeared in 64 games over his first four seasons.
Davis was a key player in the iconic AFC Divisional Round playoff game between the Bills and Kansas City Chiefs in January 2022. He caught eight passes for 201 yards and a postseason record four touchdowns in Buffalo's 42-36 overtime loss.
The Central Florida alum averaged 682.5 yards per season during his tenure with the Bills. His 16.7 yards per reception from 2020 to '23 ranked sixth in the NFL.
