DeJean had quite the rookie year. The Iowa product was selected by the Eagles in the second round and quickly became an integral part of the defense, racking up 51 tackles, six passes defended and a forced fumble during the regular season.
He had a big first postseason that included a pick-six to put the Eagles up 17-0 against the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl. He ended the playoffs with 18 tackles, four passes defended and a pick-six.
DiSandro has been with the Eagles organization in several capacities since 1999, so he got to celebrate his second Super Bowl with the team following their win in 2018. DiSandro currently serves the team as the senior advisor to the general manager, chief security officer and director of gameday coaching operations.
While DeJean appears to be enjoying the offseason, the regular season is fast approaching as the Eagles look to defend their Super Bowl title. Philadelphia kicks off the season with a rivalry matchup against the Dallas Cowboys on Sept. 4.
The Eagles are more than capable of competing for another championship with key offensive stars like Jalen Hurts, Saquon Barkley and more, plus a defense that should remain one of the best in the league this year.
