Cowboys' Jonathan Mingo Reportedly Out 4-6 Weeks After Suffering Knee Injury
As the start of the 2025 season draws nearer, the Dallas Cowboys reportedly lost some depth in their receiving corps on Monday.
Calvin Watkins of the Dallas Morning News reported that Cowboys receiver Jonathan Mingo has been diagnosed with a sprained PCL and could miss four to six weeks.
ESPN's Todd Archer reported on Sunday that the Cowboys feared that Mingo had injured his PCL in the third quarter of Saturday's preseason game against the Baltimore Ravens. He attempted to make a leaping catch on a pass from Joe Milton III but landed awkwardly before limping to the sideline.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
A second-round pick in the 2023 draft by the Carolina Panthers, Mingo was acquired by the Cowboys midway through last season. In eight games in Dallas in 2024, he notched five catches for 46 yards.
Despite his modest production last year, Archer noted that Mingo "had a productive offseason and had enough moments during training camp practices in Oxnard, California, that the Cowboys saw a role for him as a No. 4 or No. 5 wide receiver, as well as on special teams."
Losing Mingo for the start of the season puts a little more pressure on the star duo of CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens to produce in the passing attack for the Cowboys. Pickens was acquired from the Pittsburgh Steelers this offseason, giving Dallas a talented 1-2 punch for star quarterback Dak Prescott.
The Cowboys will hope to stay healthy as they close out the preseason on Friday against the Atlanta Falcons before opening the 2025 campaign against the reigning champion Philadelphia Eagles on Sept. 4.
