Angel Reese Wants Her Signature Shoe to Be Like Michael Jordan's as a 'Household Name'

Chicago Sky star Angel Reese has high hopes for her signature shoes a month ahead of their official release.

Reese told Kayla Webley Adler of ELLE that she wants her signature shoe line to join Michael Jordan's as one of the most popular sets of sneakers of all time.

"Reebok is back! We’re bringing back that old-school look, the old-school vibes. People are going to be wearing Reebok everywhere, just like how they wear Jordans everywhere," Reese said. "I want people to wear the Angel Reese 1s everywhere and just to be a household name, to have no limits on what I can do and what I can accomplish."

The Angel Reese 1s will officially drop on Sept. 18 with three different colorways available: "Diamond Dust", "Mebounds" and "Receipts Ready."

Reese hasn't played since July 29 while dealing with a lower back injury, but she's had another impressive season with averages of 14.2 points, 12.6 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.5 steals per game across 23 starts. Her star power on and off the court will continue to grow, especially when her signature shoes hit the market.
