Ranking the Top QB-WR Stacks for the 2025 Fantasy Football Season
A top quarterback-receiver stack can crush your opponent in any given week, but if you pick the wrong one, forget about your fantasy football title dreams.
Managers can play it safe with proven QB-WR stacks, but you will likely have to use early-round picks on both players.
If you're someone who prefers to focus on the running position early, you may be looking for a value stack that features a middle-round quarterback.
So, we're going to cover all the bases with our top five QB-WR stacks and three duos that earned an honorable mention.
These rankings are based on projected individual and joint outlooks with a focus on offensive systems and past production. The list also accounts for value in terms of average draft position (ADP) in points-per-reception leagues.
Honorable Mentions

Tua Tagovailoa and Tyreek Hill, Miami Dolphins
Tagovailoa ADP: 12.08
Hill ADP: 3.02
In July, Tagovailoa told reporters that his relationship with Hill is "still a work in progress" because of the receiver's public comments about wanting to leave Miami after last season.
The Dolphins have an odd vibe around them right now, and Tagovailoa has only played one full season in five years. However, if the oft-injured signal-caller stays healthy as he did in 2023, they can be top-10 in fantasy scoring at their respective positions.
Kyler Murray and Marvin Harrison Jr., Arizona Cardinals
Murray ADP: 7.09
Harrison ADP: 4.03
By this time next year, Murray and Harrison could be a top-five stack. For now, they must show how their connection has grown throughout the offseason. Harrison had a 53.4 percent catch rate last season.
Murray told reporters that his rapport with Harrison "will be better." The Cardinals quarterback also said he's "open to running more." Based on ADP, managers can roster this duo at a great value.
Justin Fields and Garrett Wilson, New York Jets
Fields ADP: 9.08
Wilson ADP: 4.05
The Jets' stack is the ultimate value option with tremendous upside if Fields stays healthy and shows progress as a pocket passer. In 2022, with the Chicago Bears, he finished sixth in fantasy scoring among quarterbacks, throwing for 2,242 yards, 17 touchdowns and 11 interceptions and rushing for 1,143 yards and eight touchdowns.
Fields has Lamar Jackson-esque rushing ability. The Athletic's Zack Rosenblatt believes Wilson will "set a team record for targets and receptions." This pairing could help managers win leagues.
No. 5: Patrick Mahomes and Xavier Worthy, Kansas City Chiefs

Patrick Mahomes ADP: 5.04
Xavier Worthy ADP: 5.04
In recent years, Mahomes has been a far better quarterback in reality than on your fantasy roster, though he may even that out in the upcoming season.
Over the last few campaigns, Mahomes has played with mediocre or below-average pass-catching groups that have struggled with drops. Yet as a starter, he's finished eighth or higher in fantasy scoring among quarterbacks every year except the previous one, falling to 11th.
The Chiefs plan to implement more deep-ball passing in their aerial attack, which will boost the number of explosive plays, allowing Worthy to stretch the field.
According to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, Rashee Rice's potential suspension remains up in the air, though he's likely to miss several games at some point in the 2025 campaign.
When you couple Rice's potential multigame absence with aging tight end Travis Kelce's declining receiving numbers, it should direct your attention back to Worthy in what could be his second-year breakout season.
Mahomes has a high fantasy production floor. If you stack him with Worthy, the tandem has boom potential in a more aggressive aerial attack.
No. 4: Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb, Dallas Cowboys
3 of 6.jpg)
Dak Prescott ADP: 8.01
CeeDee Lamb ADP: 1.06
Prescott and Lamb are a proven pair. In 2023, Prescott finished third among quarterbacks in fantasy scoring, and Lamb finished as WR1. So, they're listed one spot above the Kansas City Chiefs tandem.
On the other hand, Prescott and Lamb fell short of the top three because of the former's injury history. Prescott has missed 14 games over the last two years. So, make sure to draft a solid QB2 if you want a Cowboys stack.
That said, when healthy, Prescott is one of the most productive passers. The three-time Pro Bowler has been a top-seven fantasy quarterback in the last three seasons that he's played at least 16 games, which makes him worth the risk despite his injury history.
As for Lamb, he's a tier 1 receiver who caught a league-leading 135 receptions in 2023 with Prescott under center. Even with Cooper Rush as his starting quarterback for eight games last year, he still finished eighth in fantasy scoring among wideouts.
You would have to take Lamb in the first round, though Prescott should be available in the middle rounds, which boosts the value of this stack.
No. 3 Jared Goff and Amon-Ra St. Brown, Detroit Lions
4 of 6.jpg)
Jared Goff ADP: 9.01
Amon-Ra St. Brown ADP: 2.01
Since 2022, Goff and St. Brown have been a more consistent duo than Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb. Unlike Prescott, Goff's week-to-week availability hasn't been an issue. The Lions quarterback has made 51 consecutive regular-season starts, suiting up for every game over the last three seasons.
Furthermore, Goff has finished 10th, seventh and sixth in fantasy scoring among quarterbacks in those three years. St. Brown has back-to-back WR3 finishes.
Detroit has hired John Morton to fill the offensive coordinator spot after Ben Johnson accepted an offer to be the Chicago Bears' head coach, which is a concern for its offense.
Regardless of the play-caller, though, Goff and St. Brown should be able to rack up big numbers in their fourth season together.
If you're worried about Prescott's injury history, the Lions stack is the one for you. Goff is going later than Prescott in drafts, and St. Brown may be available early in the second round.
No. 2: Joe Burrow and Ja'Marr Chase, Cincinnati Bengals
5 of 6.jpg)
Joe Burrow ADP: 3.05
Ja'Marr Chase ADP: 1.02
Burrow and Chase were the best QB-WR stack of the 2024 season. The former was QB3, and the latter was WR1 in fantasy scoring.
Cincinnati Bengals' No. 2 wide receiver Tee Higgins has missed five games in back-to-back seasons. Chase's numbers could drop slightly if Higgins plays in every game as he did in two of his first three campaigns.
Still, the Bengals will likely be one of the league's most pass-heavy teams with their star quarterback slinging it at a 68.6 percent career completion rate. Burrow has thrown 600-plus passes in two of the last three seasons.
Based on those numbers, Cincinnati's offense can support two top-20 fantasy receivers, which was the case in 2022 and 2024.
The only legitimate concern about this stack is Burrow's availability. He's suffered season-ending injuries in two of his five years in the league. Even so, the two-time Comeback Player of the Year has been mostly healthy for three of the previous four terms.
No. 1: Jalen Hurts and A.J. Brown, Philadelphia Eagles
6 of 6.jpg)
Jalen Hurts ADP: 4.05
A.J. Brown ADP: 2.07
Compared to what we saw in 2023, Hurts and Brown saw a slight drop-off in fantasy production last season. Two years ago, they were in the top five in scoring at their respective positions. In 2024, Hurts fell to eighth, and Brown finished as WR20.
Brown missed four games because of injuries and a rest week last year, but Philadelphia fielded a low-volume passing attack that logged the fewest pass attempts.
With Saquon Barkley running wild, the Eagles didn't have to force the ball through the air. This year, though, he could see some regression on the ground.
Moreover, Philadelphia promoted pass game coordinator Kevin Patullo to offensive coordinator as a replacement for Kellen Moore, who became the New Orleans Saints head coach.
As a former pass game coordinator, Patullo could employ a balanced offense that features more of Hurts' arm talent and his receivers. If so, Brown could eclipse 1,400 receiving yards in a season for the third time in four years with the Eagles.
Keep an eye on reports about Brown's hamstring injury. NFL Network's Mike Garafolo doesn't sense "great concern" about the issue, but head coach Nick Sirianni told reporters that Brown is "working through some things."
The Eagles' stack gets the nod over the Bengals' tandem because Hurts may be available a round after Joe Burrow, and the same can be said about managers taking Brown a round after Ja'Marr Chase. Yet these duos could produce similar fantasy numbers.
Lastly, Hurts' rushing production makes him a more appealing fantasy asset than Burrow. He's rushed for 600-plus yards and at least 10 touchdowns in four consecutive terms.
