There are only a handful of players in the entire NFL better than Houston Texans wide receiver Nico Collins and San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle in the eyes of their peers.
Collins checks in at No. 32 in this year's edition of the NFL Top 100 countdown, which marks the 15th consecutive season current players voted on the highly anticipated list. Kittle checked in at No. 31.

This is quite the introduction to the list for Collins, who was not included in last year's NFL Top 100.
He probably should have been, though, because he is nearly unstoppable when he is on the field and finished with 80 catches for 1,297 yards and eight touchdowns in 2023. That was his backdrop to the start of the 2024 season, and Collins responded by making his first career Pro Bowl with 68 catches for 1,006 yards and seven touchdowns.
The only issue for Collins to this point of his career is durability.
After all, the 2021 third-round draft pick was limited to 10 games in 2022 and 12 games last year. Missing five contests didn't prevent him from surpassing the 1,000-yard mark for the second straight season, but the Texans are far more dangerous when he is on the field.
He will be even more important in 2025, as Stefon Diggs is no longer on the roster and Tank Dell is still recovering from a significant knee injury. Even though Houston traded for Christian Kirk this offseason, there is no doubting Collins' position as C.J. Stroud's top option in the aerial attack.
If Collins stays healthy and puts up even better numbers in 2025 in that role, he might move even higher in next year's list.
Unlike Collins, Kittle is no stranger to this list. In fact, he was No. 14 in the 2024 edition.
The 49ers star is one of the best tight ends in recent history with a resume that includes six Pro Bowl selections and two First-Team All-Pro nods. He was dominant once again last year with a fourth season of more than 1,000 receiving yards.
Kittle finished the 2024 campaign with 78 catches for 1,106 yards and eight touchdowns as a significant bright spot for a 49ers team that went 6-11 and finished in last place in the NFC West.
Expectations are much higher in San Francisco in 2025, especially if the team can avoid some of the injuries that cost it last year.
And as long as Kittle is in the lineup, it will have one of the top playmakers in the sport.
