Micah Parsons Says 'My Mouth Is Closed' Amid Cowboys Contract Hold-In
Dallas Cowboys defensive superstar Micah Parsons didn't have any comments for reporters Wednesday amid his ongoing training camp hold-in due to a contract dispute.
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones was asked what was preventing him from speaking with Parsons and his camp.

Jones was then asked: "So why don't you talk?" He had this to say in response: "Again, nothing would be that, and we might or might not talk. The rest of it gets what we do every day."
Parsons issued a statement on Aug. 1 giving a lengthy explanation on where things stood at the time and why he no longer wanted to play for Dallas.
Parsons has played four seasons. The former Penn State star Parsons is a two-time First-Team All-Pro. Over his career, he's racked up 52.5 sacks, 112 quarterback hits and 256 tackles.
Parsons is entering the final year of a rookie deal paying him just over $24 million, per Over the Cap. However, he's set to be a free agent after the 2025 season unless the Cowboys use the franchise tag on him.
Obviously, it would behoove the Cowboys to sign Parsons long-term. He's a tremendous pass-rusher and by far the best one on the Cowboys right now. No other returning Cowboy had more than five sacks last season, while Parsons had 12 in 13 games.
Right now, there isn't much news to report as both sides continue their staredown. Time is ticking between now and the rest of the offseason, though, with the Cowboys opening the season on Sept. 4 at the Philadelphia Eagles.
