Jackson and Allen are the clear top two QBs entering the 2025 season, thanks in large part to the dual threat of their game. Both can throw the ball, but their ability to rush adds to their value in the fantasy game.
With that said, if Burrow repeats what he accomplished a season ago, do not be surprised if the Bengals signal caller eclipses both of the preseason favorites by year's end.
Burrow was a top 10 quarterback in nine of 17 weeks a season ago, throwing for nearly 5,000 yards, with 43 touchdowns and just nine interceptions. He did it for a Bengals team playing from behind, thanks to a poor defense, but he firmly established himself as one of the best at his position in the league.
His connection with wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase remains lethal, as we saw in the first preseason game of the year when he hurled two touchdowns to his fellow LSU Tiger against Philadelphia.
The Bengals run game remains just uncertain enough that the team will still likely have to throw its way to victories and with that in mind, the former No. 1 overall pick definitely belongs in the conversation with Jackson and Allen as top picks at QB.

Running Back Rankings for the 2025 Fantasy Season
- Bijan Robinson, Atlanta Falcons
- Derrick Henry, Baltimore Ravens
- Jahmyr Gibbs, Detroit Lions
- Jonathan Taylor, Indianapolis Colts
- Saquon Barkley, Philadelphia Eagles
- Christian McCaffrey, San Francisco 49ers
- Josh Jacobs, Green Bay Packers

- Chase Brown, Cincinnati Bengals
- Omarian Hampton, Los Angeles Chargers
- James Cook, Buffalo Bills
After a bumpy start to the season in 2024, Robinson finally enjoyed the breakout year that many expected from him upon his arrival in the league from the University of Texas.
The second year back became the workhorse for the Falcons offense last year, with 304 carries for 1,456 yards, and 15 total touchdowns. He played in all 17 games and was the lifeblood of an offense that underwhelmed more times than not.
With second year quarterback Michael Penix Jr. under center, the team will likely lean on Robinson even more until the former Washington Husky finds his footing and develops the confidence Atlanta coaches want to see out of him.
Expect a similar number of carries and touchdowns, if not more, as he looks to improve upon a season that saw him tally 280.7 standard league fantasy points and 341.7 in PPR play.
Wide Receivers

Wide Receiver Rankings for the 2025 Fantasy Season
- Ja'Marr Chase, Cincinnati Bengals
- Justin Jefferson, Minnesota Vikings
- Amon-Ra St. Brown, Detroit Lions
- Puka Nacua, Los Angeles Rams
- CeeDee Lamb, Dallas Cowboys
- Nico Collins, Houston Texans
- AJ Brown, Philadelphia Eagles
- Malik Nabers, New York Giants
- Tyreek Hill, Miami Dolphins
- Mike Evans, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
- Brian Thomas Jr., Jacksonville Jaguars
- Tee Higgins, Cincinnati Bengals
- Garrett Wilson, New York Jets
- Courtland Sutton, Denver Broncos
- Drake London, Atlanta Falcons
Chase enjoyed three weeks in 2024 in which he finished as the No. 1 receiver in PPR leagues, thanks to a pass-heavy Bengals offense. The former first-round pick hauled in 127 balls for 1,708 yards and 17 touchdowns.
He was the top-ranked wide receiver last year and finished the season averaging 23.7 points per game in PPR leagues, good for five full points ahead of the No. 2 finisher, Minnesota's Justin Jefferson.
There is no reason to believe Chase cannot accomplish the same feat again in 2025.
Chase Brown has the potential to be a top-tier running back but the Cincinnati ground game left much to be desired last year, with no signs that there has been significant growth this off-season.
With Burrow likely to sling the ball all over the field this year, and Chase being his go-to guy, as evidenced with his two-score performance in Philadelphia, the best wide out in football is justifiably WR1 for all fantasy managers this year.
Tight End Rankings

Tight End Rankings for the 2025 Fantasy Season
- Brock Bowers, Las Vegas Raiders
- George Kittle, San Francisco 49ers
- Trey McBride, Arizona Cardinals
- Travis Kelce, Kansas City Chiefs
- Sam LaPorta, Detroit Lions
- Mark Andrews, Baltimore Ravens
- David Njoku, Cleveland Browns
- Evan Engram, New York Giants
- TJ Hockenson, Minnesota Vikings
- Dallas Goedert, Philadelphia Eagles
Bowers lived up to the hype in his rookie year, shattering records for most receiving yards by a rookie tight end and most receptions by any rookie at any position. He was the single most important player on the Raiders offense and that should continue this season, making him the obvious No. 1 at his position.
He has tough match-ups up and down the schedule, with the 30th-ranked strength of schedule for tight ends, but that should not deter managers from taking him early.
Bowers put up wide receiver-like numbers and no matter how tough the schedule looks on paper, elite players will find a way to get their catches and break a play. While it may be too early to consider a 22-year-old entering his second year in the league "elite," he certainly flashed that level of play a year ago, with his 112 receptions and 1,194 yards.
Hopefully, new Raiders coach Pete Carroll devises ways to get the ball in Bowers' hands so that he can improve upon the five touchdowns he tallied last year and continue shining in his second season.
