Tom Brady Reportedly Expected to Call Cowboys vs. Bears on Fox's NFL Week 3 Broadcast
Tom Brady's broadcast assignment for Week 3 of the 2025 season reportedly has been revealed.
The Athletic's Richard Deitsch spoke to a source briefed on Fox Sports’ NFL plans who said Brady and the network's top broadcasting team are expected to call the Week 3 matchup between the Dallas Cowboys and Chicago Bears.
Fox Sports previously announced Brady's broadcast schedule for the first two weeks of the season, stating that he will be on the call for the New York Giants vs. Washington Commanders game on Sept. 7, followed by the Super Bowl LIX rematch with the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs on Sept. 14. He is a part of the network's No. 1 football broadcast team alongside Kevin Burkhardt, Erin Andrews and Tom Rinaldi.

Deitsch explained that Fox has long relied on featuring the Cowboys in the late-afternoon window, but the network "asked the NFL for more variety among the teams" for its 4:25 p.m. ET Sunday time slot. Landing the Super Bowl rematch in Week 2 is viewed as a major departure from Fox's previous strategy.
"I think CBS has actually had good success having their first doubleheader be in Week 2 the last couple years, so we asked to move off Week 1 as the doubleheader," Mike Mulvihill, the head of insights and analytics for Fox Sports, said earlier this year, per Deitsch. "It’s fine for a single-header, and we’re coming back with our first really special game of the year (Philadelphia at Kansas City)."
Brady is entering the second year of his 10-year, $375 million deal with Fox. The legendary quarterback had a few hiccups in his first run as a broadcaster, but he will have the chance to show his improvements during the 2025 season.
