Karrion Kross Discusses WWE Contract Ending on Video, Scarlett Confirms Exit

After a ton of speculation surrounding the expiration of his contract with WWE, Karrion Kross provided some clarity on his status.

In a YouTube video titled "My WWE Contract Ends Today," Kross revealed that he was open to renegotiating his deal with the company, but a recent contract discussion didn't feel like a "real conversation." He added that the moment left him "profoundly disappointed."

Kross later said in the video that he's "really f--king angry" about how things played out.

Along with his wife Scarlett, Kross was moved to the alumni page on WWE's website on Sunday, signifying the end of their tenures with the company. Scarlett confirmed the exit on social media on Sunday:

Kross was in his second run in WWE after returning in 2022. Despite a slow start and multiple halted runs on the midcard, he recently got over with the crowd despite playing a heel character. He became one of the company's top merchandise sellers, and live crowds frequently chanted "We want Kross!"

Unfortunately, WWE didn't want Kross as much. He revealed in his video that he was directed not to embrace the positive chants from the live audience.

"I was told by several people not to acknowledge it, which felt wrong. This happened organically through a series of events," he said.

Kross, most recently, was involved in a lengthy storyline with Sami Zayn, which culminated in a match at SummerSlam last weekend that Zayn won. A recent report revealed that Kross and Scarlett were set to appear on last week's episode of Monday Night Raw before the company canceled their travel plans.

Fans will surely be hoping to see Kross land with AEW, TNA or another company so they can continue to follow the next chapter of his career.
