Paige Bueckers Scores 17 as Wings Lose to Kiki Iriafen, Mystics for 5th Straight Loss
The Dallas Wings' struggles continued on Sunday, but Paige Bueckers had another solid outing in what has been a phenomenal rookie year.
The Wings dropped their contest against the Washington Mystics 91-78 on Sunday, marking their fifth consecutive loss. Despite the loss, Bueckers dropped 17 points on 5-of-9 from the field and 2-of-4 from deep, adding three assists and three rebounds.
Bueckers made it 25 straight games with double digits, marking the longest active streak in the WNBA.

Bueckers wasn't the only star rookie who showed out on Sunday, as Mystics' Sonia Citron, the No. 3 overall pick in 2025, dropped 18 points, five rebounds and six assists.
Bueckers came into Sunday's contest putting up 18.6 points, 5.4 assists and 4.1 rebounds per game. She's having one of the best rookie seasons in recent memory, and she'll almost certainly claim the Rookie of the Year award this year.
But Bueckers' success hasn't translated to success for the Wings. Dallas dropped to 8-24 on the season with Sunday's loss, and the Wings are sitting in 12th place in the WNBA standings.
Still, the Wings have shown some improvement this season as their just a win away from matching last year's win total. If Bueckers continues her progression, she could have Dallas competing in the playoffs in no time.
