Travis Hunter Plays WR, CB in Jaguars Preseason Debut, Excites NFL Fans vs. Steelers
Jacksonville Jaguars star rookie Travis Hunter made his preseason debut on Saturday against the visiting Pittsburgh Steelers. He played wide receiver with the starters but later suited up at cornerback with the second-teamers.
PFF's Jon Macri and ESPN's Michael DiRocco broke it down.

Re-Drafting the Last 5 Rookie Classes 🤯
Understandably, Hunter didn't play much in the preseason, as the Jags certainly have greater plans awaiting the reigning Heisman Trophy winner and No. 2 overall pick in the draft.
Hunter did get in the box score early with a four-yard catch before later adding a five-yarder.
Fans and analysts alike are impressed with what they saw.
Last season for Colorado, Hunter caught 96 passes for 1,258 yards and 15 touchdowns (he also rushed for an additional score). On defense, Hunter added 36 tackles, four interceptions and 11 pass breakups.
In April, the Jags traded up from fifth overall to No. 2 to get Hunter. Jags general manager James Gladstone explained why.
"You can count however many drafts you want to [and] there are players who have the capacity to alter a game. There are players who have the capacity to alter the trajectory of a team. There are very few players who have the capacity to alter the trajectory of the sport itself," Gladstone said, per ESPN.
"Travis, while he has a lot to still learn in our eyes, has the potential to do just that."
So the journey continues for Hunter, who provided a glimpse of what's to come in Jacksonville.
The Jags' next preseason game is set for Sunday, Aug. 17 at the New Orleans Saints.
