Von Miller Talks Commanders-Patriots Practice Fight Video, Says He Wasn't Involved
Von Miller was a bystander in the practice skirmish between the Washington Commanders and New England Patriots earlier this week.
In a post on Instagram, Miller clarified he wasn't among those involved in the altercation that led to Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel taking a shot to the face.
"I got slammed?" Miller said in response to a post on X from Zack Cox of the Boston Herald about the situation. "Zack, c'mon man. Y'all wanna see me fight so bad, huh? Y'all wanna see me fight? Y'all wanna see 36-year-old Von Miller fight? Tune in Week 1 vs. the Giants. Let's go Commanders."

Cox did issue an apology for the mistake:
The situation occurred during Wednesday's joint practice between the two teams, leading up to their preseason matchup on Friday night. It was notable because Vrabel got involved and came out of the pile with a bloody face.
It was revealed that Vrabel took an accidental hit from Patriots rookie tackle Will Campbell. Several New England players were complimentary of the coach's willingness to get involved in the situation and what it says about the culture he's trying to instill in the franchise.
Miller is preparing for his first season with the Commanders after signing a one-year deal with the club in July. He will be counted on to boost a pass-rush that finished tied for 12th in sacks last season.
The eight-time Pro Bowler recorded six sacks in 13 games for the Buffalo Bills in 2024.
