Johnson previously worked alongside Menefee, Bradshaw, Long and Strahan on Fox NFL Sunday desk. The 81-year-old announced his retirement after 31 years with the network in March.
Gronkowski first worked with Fox during his initial retirement from playing during the 2019 NFL season. He ultimately returned to the NFL, where he won his fourth Super Bowl with Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, before announcing his second retirement in 2022.
The former tight end most recently served as a contributor to both Fox NFL Sunday and Fox NFL Kickoff in 2024.
The Fox NFL Kickoff broadcast team will be led by host Charissa Thompson next season alongside Charles Woodson, Julian Edelman, Cooper Manning and Colin Cowherd.
Gronkowski's former teammate, Brady, is meanwhile heading into his second season as an in-game analyst for the network. He will start out the season by calling a Week 1 game against the Washington Commanders and New York Giants alongside play-by-play announcer Kevin Burkhardt on Sunday, Sept. 7.
