Marshawn Lynch Working as NFL Photographer During Seahawks vs. Raiders, Pete Carroll
Marshawn Lynch provided more than a few memorable moments during his NFL career as a bruising running backs. On Thursday night, however, he was on the other side of the camera.
Lynch was working the sidelines as a photography during the preseason matchup between the Las Vegas Raiders and Seattle Seahawks in his former head coach Pete Carroll's first preseason game leading the Raiders.

He even found himself pretty close to the action on one play in the first quarter:
Lynch is not the first former star athlete to try his hand with the lenses, of course.
MLB Hall of Famer, Ken Griffey Jr., is an avid photographer, for instance.
"Because I played baseball, then I'm not allowed to do anything else?" Griffey told Victor Mather of the New York Times in April. "They see me as one thing; that's not necessarily who I am."
Another MLB Hall of Famer, Randy Johnson, has taken a similar path:
As for Lynch, the 39-year-old spent 12 seasons in the NFL with the Buffalo Bills (2007-10), Seattle Seahawks (2010-15, 2019) and the then-Oakland Raiders (2017-18). He was a five-time Pro Bowler and one-time champion, rushing for 10,413 yards and 85 touchdowns in his career.
It was during his time in Seattle when he was paired with Carroll and hit the pinnacle of his career. Between 2011-14 he registered at least 1,200 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns in each campaign, spearheading a Seattle team that reached the playoffs every year in that span and won a Super Bowl (and probably would have won a second if Carroll had called a run play for Lynch at the goal line late in the fourth quarter of Super Bowl XLIX instead of the pass play that famously led to a Malcolm Butler interception).
So it was only fitting to see Lynch back in action for the Seahawks vs. Raiders, albeit in a far different role.
