Packers' Jordan Love Says Steelers' Aaron Rodgers is Biggest 'Badass' He's Played With
Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love called Aaron Rodgers a "badass" as he recounted the two seasons they were teammates together.
Love told ESPN's Kevin Clark the biggest things he learned from Pittsburgh Steelers signal-caller were pre-snap adjustments. He better grasped how to read opposing defenses at the line of scrimmage, along with any mismatches or penalties that arise from late substitutions.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
It's no secret that Rodgers didn't have much of a rapport with Packers legend Brett Favre after Green Bay all but anointed him Favre's successor in 2005. The Hall of Famer famously asserted his contract "doesn't say I have to get Aaron Rodgers ready to play."
With that experience still fresh in his mind, Rodgers seemed to embrace a mentor role with Love while at the same time using Love's arrival as fuel for his back-to-back MVP wins in 2020 and 2021.
The results of that work were evident when Love became the starter in 2023 following Rodgers' trade to the New York Jets. He threw for 4,159 yards and 32 touchdowns as Green Bay went 9-8 and beat the Dallas Cowboys in the NFC Wild Card Round.
Last season was a bit of a mixed bag for the 26-year-old as he averaged fewer yards and more interceptions per contest but rose to fifth in QBR (69.3) among qualified passers, per ESPN.com.
The MCL sprain Love suffered in Week 1 undoubtedly impacted his performance once he returned. Assuming he stays healthy, Rodgers' pointers and the general wisdom he has gained may help him turn a corner and enter the elite tier of QBs.
