Bruins Unveil New White Road Uniforms in Video Ahead of 2025-26 NHL Season
The Boston Bruins revealed a first look at the team's new road uniforms in a video posted Wednesday to social media.
The uniforms feature a redesign of the "Spoked B" logo inspired by the club's vintage sweaters, which was first announced by the team in June.
The Bruins are heading into the 2025-26 campaign with David Pastrnak and Charlie McAvoy as alternate captains after trading former captain Brad Marchand to the Florida Panthers last season.
Pastrnak and McAvoy were featured in the Bruins' original video revealing the team's home uniforms. Wednesday's reveal of the road sweaters focused on Pavel Zacha and Mason Lohrei.
The road uniforms feature a bear patch on the left shoulder with the word BOSTON on it, as opposed to home sweaters, which feature the word BRUINS.
The bear silhouette on the shoulder of the uniforms is an homage to the logo originally worn by the Bruins during the club's inaugural season in 1924.
The Spoked B logo, which was first introduced on Bruins uniforms in 1948, originally featured spokes without an outline.
The Bruins added outlines to the spokes and a serif to the letter 'B' when redesigning the logo in 2007.
During the 2025-26 season, the Bruins will wear a logo that combined the non-outlined spokes with the serif 'B.'
The home uniforms will feature a yellow 'B' in front of black spokes, while the road uniforms bear a black 'B' in front of yellow spokes, according to a first look at the sweaters released by the Bruins in June.
The Bruins will be wearing the new road jerseys when the club kicks off the 2025-26 regular season with an away game against Alex Ovechkin and the Washington Capitals on Wednesday, Oct. 8.
The new black jerseys will make their debut during the team's home opener on Thursday, Oct. 9, against Connor Bedard and the Chicago Blackhawks.
