Wednesday's reveal doesn't quite match the surprise of Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill going from the No. 1 player in 2024 to 47th.

Anderson hit double digits in sacks (11) for the first time in 2024, adding 16 tackles for loss and 19 quarterback hits to his overall stat line. He received some Defensive Player of the Year votes and finished 14th in the balloting.
The Texans were aggressive in trading up to the No. 3 pick in order to get the former Alabama standout, having already used the second overall selection on quarterback C.J. Stroud. He's on his way toward paying back that investment.
"He's got a complete skill set," one AFC executive said of Anderson to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler. "And he's only getting better. Only two years in the league. Will keep improving."
With one Pro Bowl appearance to his name already, the 2025 season might be when Anderson puts himself up alongside the NFL's elite sack artists.
In the case of Williams, last year was the first time he started to show his age. The 37-year-old was sidelined for seven games, and he wasn't quite the imposing blocker he had been during his 49ers tenure up to that point.
Look no further than the fact that he went from first to fourth in Fowler's ranking of the best offensive tackles.
Williams is still confident he can play at a high level. He told reporters in June he hopes to keep going into his 40s, and he's "definitely not going to retire with some left in the tank."
San Francisco will be watching the three-time All-Pro's performance particularly closely because he's due to hit free agency in 2027. The upcoming season is likely pivotal toward shaping his future in the Bay Area.
