
Paige Bueckers Scores 21 as Wings Lose to Sabrina Ionescu, Liberty, Drop to 8-22
Paige Bueckers play wasn't enough to lift her Dallas Wings to victory Tuesday evening.
The rookie guard scored 21 points but it was not enough as her team fell 85-76 to the New York Liberty.

It was a tight game at the half, with the Liberty taking a narrow 37-35 lead. However, a 23-18 run in the third quarter extended the lead and kept that pace going in the fourth to secure the comfortable win.
Bueckers had eight rebounds, four assists and one steal in 31 minutes to go along with her 21 points. She was 8-of-15 shooting overall, 1-of-5 from three-point range and 4-of-5 from the free throw line.
Other notables for the Wings were Arike Ogunbowale, who had 14 points, four rebounds and four assists, and Maddy Siegrist, who had 13 points and three rebounds in 15 minutes off of the bench.
The Liberty made their push via a balanced attack. Jonquel Jones led the team with 15 points and 10 rebounds while Leonie Fiebich had 14, Natasha Cloud had 12, Emma Meesseman had 13 and Stephanie Talbot had 13 off of the bench.
New York improves to 19-10 with the victory while the Wings fell to 8-22. Bueckers and Dallas will next be in action on Friday in a rematch against the Liberty. That will be the final game of the season series and will determine who takes the season series.
