Chiefs' Rashee Rice Says He's 'Completely Changed' Since 2024 Multi-Car Crash
Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice has reflected on his role in a multi-car crash in 2024.
"I learned just how valuable any opportunity and moment is," Rice said, per ESPN's Nate Taylor. "This right here, us being able to be on the field and be coached by Coach [Andy] Reid and have such a great quarterback [Patrick Mahomes], is honestly a gift, a blessing.
"I've completely changed," he added. "Honestly, you have to learn from things like that. I've taken advantage of being able to learn from something like that."

In July, Rice was reportedly sentenced to five years' probation and 30 days of jail time that can be served during those five years for his involvement in the car collision. He received deferred adjudication, meaning that the case will be dismissed if he completes his probation.
Rice pleaded guilty to a pair of third-degree felony charges in district court, according to a release from the Dallas County District Attorney's office (h/t Taylor).
The 25-year-old hasn't received any disciplinary action from the NFL yet, although ESPN's Adam Schefter reported on July 17 that the wideout was "likely to receive a multi-game suspension."
The Chiefs selected Rice with a second-round pick in the 2023 NFL draft. He caught 79 passes for 938 yards as a rookie before his sophomore season ended after four games due to a knee injury.
