McCaskey, who had served as the principal owner of the Bears since 1983, died at age 102 in February.
The team will also honor former Bears star defensive tackle Steve McMichael, who was diagnosed with ALS in 2021 and died in April at age 67, with a football-shaped decal featuring No. 76 on the back of each player's helmet.
Soldier Field will also feature a decal painted with McMichael's number during each home game during the 2025 season.
McMichael helped the Bears set a franchise record with 72 total sacks in 1984, then contributed to the team's Super Bowl XX win after the 1985 season. He was enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame last August.
McCaskey meanwhile took over as principal owner of the Bears following the death of her father, team founder George Halas, in 1983. The Bears designed the emblem honoring McCaskey in a similar pattern to the patch the team wore during the 1983 season in honor of Halas.
"We thought it would be appropriate if her patch mirrored her dad's from 1983," Bears chairman George H. McCaskey said, per ChicagoBears.com's Gabby Hajduck. "So it's the same size, the same color combination. The only thing that's different, of course, is the initials. We thought that was the right thing to do."
The Bears will also honor McCaskey by not wearing any alternate or throwback jerseys next season, with the team's only change being between navy jerseys and white pants at home and white jerseys and navy pants on the road.
George McCaskey recently told the Chicago Sun-Times' Patrick Finley, "She said to me many times, ‘If it were up to me, we’d have the same uniform at home and the same uniform away.'"
He continued, "It’s a tribute to her than she understood and deferred to us in those choices. So we thought this would be a nice way to pay tribute to her.”
The Bears will wear the tribute patch, the tribute sticker and show off the tribute field decal for the first time when the 2025 season kicks off on Sept. 8 with a home game against the Minnesota Vikings.
