Padres general manager A.J. Preller didn't stop there. The Padres landed the combo of Ryan O'Hearn and Ramon Laureano from the Baltimore Orioles and Nestor Cortes Jr. from the Milwaukee Brewers.
The Yankees overhauled their bullpen by adding David Bednar, Camilo Doval and Jake Bird.
The Minnesota Twins ended up as the biggest seller. They dealt away Carlos Correa to Houston, Harrison Bader to Philadelphia, Griffin Jax to Tampa Bay, Willi Castro to the Chicago Cubs as well as Louis Varland and Ty France to Toronto.
Byron Buxton and Joe Ryan seemingly the only players not dealt from the Twins roster.
Ryan was one of a few high-profile starting pitchers that did not get dealt on Thursday. Sandy Alcantara and Dylan Cease were heavily rumored to be traded over the last week, but neither of them landed elsewhere.
Cleveland outfielder Steven Kwan was among the top position players that stayed put. Kwan was reportedly a target of multiple teams, but he remained with the Guardians.
