Russell Wilson Praises Jaxson Dart, Says Giants QB is 'Confident' with a 'Great Arm'
New York Giants veteran quarterback Russell Wilson likes what he's seen so far from rookie signal-caller Jaxson Dart.
While speaking to NFL Network's Judy Battista, Wilson praised Dart's physical talent as well as his mental makeup.
"He's got a great arm, first of all, he can do a lot of different things," Wilson said (4:15 mark). "I think that he's a guy who's confident, he's a guy who just wants to constantly learn."

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The 25th pick in this year's draft, Dart had some early rookie struggles to start training camp last week. His first throw in practice was intercepted and returned for a touchdown, but Wilson's advice to him was simply, "Next play," per ESPN's Jordan Raanan.
Dart began training camp practicing with the second-team offense, but veteran Jameis Winston took over most second-team reps later in the week. Still, the 22-year-old showed signs of improvement, including a touchdown pass to fellow rookie Cam Skattebo on the final play of Friday's practice.
Wilson appears to be locked in as the starter for the Giants, and he said he wants to set a strong example for Dart, Winston and the rest of the team.
"For me, we want every guy to get better every day, and that's starting with me, to everybody else, especially in our quarterback room," Wilson said. "We want to always have a great quarterback room, to be able to share that knowledge and push each other and have those days where we're challenging each other in every way."
The Giants are hoping that having Dart learn from a pair of veterans like Wilson and Winston will benefit him in the long run when he takes the reins as the franchise quarterback.
