Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Drafted 11th overall in 2004, Roethlisberger spent his entire career with the Steelers before retiring in 2021. After winning Offensive Rookie of the Year in his first campaign, he helped lead Pittsburgh to a Super Bowl in 2005. He and the Steelers won another championship three years later and came just short of a third in 2010, losing to the Green Bay Packers in the Super Bowl.
Pouncey, a first-round pick in 2010, also spent his entire career with the Steelers, earning a pair of first-team All-Pro nods and three second-team All-Pro bids. He was a nine-time Pro Bowler, only missing the Pro Bowl twice in his career.
Porter was drafted by the Steelers in 1999 and played in Pittsburgh until 2006, playing a key role in the team's Super Bowl run in 2005. He rounded out his career with the Miami Dolphins and Arizona Cardinals, but went back to Pittsburgh in 2014 to join the Steelers' coaching staff. He remained with Pittsburgh until 2018.
The Steelers drafted Porter's son, cornerback Joey Porter Jr., in 2023, and he put together a strong second season with 70 tackles and an interception in 2024.
"It's called the Hall of Honor for a reason," Porter said in a statement. "It's an honor to be in it. To be mentioned with all the guys that played before that are in the Hall of Honor is special. Being in Pittsburgh, you know the tradition of what it means to play for the Steelers.
"So just to be always mentioned amongst the greats, that's what makes it amazing. It's an honor."
