Scottie Scheffler Says He'd Trade 1 Major Championship for Cowboys Super Bowl Win

World No. 1 golfer Scottie Scheffler revealed that he'd pay a hefty price to see the Dallas Cowboys win one more Super Bowl.

"I would trade one [major] for sure for a [Cowboys] Super Bowl," Scheffler said during an appearance on the Pardon My Take podcast (h/t Yahoo Sports).

Scheffler was born in Ridgewood, New Jersey, but was raised in Dallas. He has four major titles under his belt after winning the 2025 Open Championship on Sunday.

Now, the 29-year-old just needs to emerge victorious in the U.S. Open in order to become the seventh player to achieve a career Grand Slam.

Scheffler seems to be willing to part ways with one of his majors to see the Cowboys hoist the Lombardi Trophy, though. Dallas has five Super Bowl victories, but its latest championship triumph occurred roughly five months before he was born.

The Cowboys have struggled to string together deep playoff runs since, as they've failed to advance beyond the divisional round in each of their 13 postseason trips since their last Super Bowl.

Dallas enters the 2025 season with playoff aspirations once again, led by new head coach Brian Schottenheimer and his staff. The Cowboys will be hoping for better health on both sides of the ball as stars such as Dak Prescott, CeeDee Lamb, Micah Parsons and Trevon Diggs combined to miss 21 games in 2024.

As Dallas attempts to return to the postseason for the fourth time in five years, Scheffler will remain heavily invested in the success of his hometown team.
