Browns HC Ideally Wants QB1 Decision 'Sooner Than Later' amid Shedeur Sanders Buzz
The Cleveland Browns have a slew of quarterbacks on their roster heading into training camp, and head coach Kevin Stefanski is hoping to figure out which one will be the starter shortly.
"I think the big thing for me is putting our guys in position where we can evaluate them," Stefanski told reporters on Wednesday. "I think they did a great job in the spring, all four of those guys. We'll continue to put them in some situations, but ultimately, we'd love to make a decision sooner than later."

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Heading into this year's NFL draft, the Browns already had Joe Flacco and Kenny Pickett as options under center, with Deshaun Watson potentially in the mix as well, depending on his injury status.
Cleveland added to its quarterback room in the draft, taking Oregon star Dillon Gabriel in the third round and Colorado standout Shedeur Sanders in the fifth round.
Now, Stefanski and the coaching staff have a decision to make.
Flacco brings the most experience, but the 40-year-old is far from his prime and struggled with the Indianapolis Colts last year. Pickett has shown flashes of potential through his first three seasons, but hasn't exactly proved himself as a reliable starter.
Both Gabriel and Sanders were two of the top quarterbacks in college football last season. Gabriel threw for 3,857 yards and 30 touchdowns on his way to being named a Heisman Trophy finalist.
Sanders threw for 4,134 yards and 37 touchdowns before taking an unexpected slide in the draft.
The good news for the Browns is that they're still deep in a rebuild and have the freedom to experiment under center throughout the season. If whoever Stefanski picks as QB1 doesn't work out early in the season, Cleveland can look to a different option later on this year.
