
Angel Reese Makes WNBA History with 10th Straight Double-Double in Sky Loss to Lynx
Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese became the first WNBA player to amass 10 or more consecutive double-doubles on two different occasions in league history on Tuesday.
Reese finished with 11 points and 11 rebounds in a 91-68 loss to the first place Minnesota Lynx. She has averaged 17.4 points and 14.5 rebounds per game since June 22, when her latest double-double streak began against the Atlanta Dream.

The second-year pro had a streak of 15 straight double-doubles during her 2024 rookie season, ranging from June 4 to July 11.
For the season, Reese is averaging 13.8 points and 12.5 rebounds. She's well on-pace to average a double-double for the second straight year after posting 13.6 PPG and 13.1 RPG last season.
The former Maryland and LSU star is also leading the league in rebounds for the second straight season. No other player has 10 or more boards per game this year.
Reese and the Sky will be back in action on Thursday at 8:30 p.m. ET with a home game against the Seattle Storm.
