
Braves, Reds' Jerseys for Speedway Classic Revealed in Photos of De La Cruz, Albies
The jerseys that the Atlanta Braves and Cincinnati Reds will wear in the 2025 MLB Speedway Classic were unveiled on Monday.
Braves second baseman Ozzie Albies and Reds shortstop Elly De La Cruz were featured in the release of the uniforms.

The visors on Cincinnati's caps feature a checkered flag, while Atlanta's caps contain flames.
Meanwhile, the jersey numbers for each team share a resemblance to the numbers typically featured on race cars.
The batting helmets that both teams will wear are modeled after the design of NASCAR helmets, including numbers and checkered flag emblems.
The matchup between Atlanta and Cincinnati will occur at Bristol Motor Speedway, marking the first MLB game to be played in the state of Tennessee. The coliseum has a capacity of roughly 160,000 and typically hosts NASCAR events throughout the year, setting the stage for a large turnout.
Although the Braves own a 43-55 record this season, the Reds sit at 52-48 and are just 2.5 games back from the final National League wild card spot.
De La Cruz has continued to blossom as a rising star in Cincinnati, earning an All-Star nod for the second consecutive year. He's recorded 18 home runs, 18 doubles, 25 stolen bases and 65 RBIs while slashing .281/.357/.486 in 2025.
For the Braves, Albies has racked up nine homers and 38 RBIs while posting a .622 OPS.
The inaugural Speedway Classic will begin on Aug. 2 at 7:15 p.m. ET.
