Caitlin Clark Not Expected to Play for Fever vs. Liberty Amid Groin Injury, HC Says
Indiana Fever head coach Stephanie White revealed that star point guard Caitlin Clark isn't expected to play against the New York Liberty on Tuesday as she recovers from a groin injury.
"She's gonna see some doctors and get some more tests run early in the week," White told reporters Sunday. "I don't expect her to be available on Tuesday."

Clark didn't play in the 2025 WNBA All-Star Game after aggravating a groin injury during Indiana's recent 85-77 win over the Connecticut Sun.
After earning 2024 Rookie of the Year honors, Clark has struggled to stay healthy during the 2025 season. She's missed 10 of Indiana's 23 games this year due to groin and quad issues.
Clark, who served as a team captain during the All-Star festivities despite being unable to suit up, recently provided an update on her health.
"I'm not going to say I've been getting around-the-clock treatment," Clark said Saturday, per ESPN's Michael Voepel. "I've been still trying to enjoy this weekend and having the balance of that at the same time [as] soaking all of this in. And you know, once [Sunday] comes around, I will completely shift my focus to getting as healthy as possible."
The two-time All-Star has recorded 16.5 points per game during the 2025 season while ranking No. 2 in the WNBA with an average of 8.8 assists on a nightly basis. She's also shooting 46.7 percent on two-point field goals and 27.9 percent on threes.
The Fever will travel to the Barclays Center to face the Liberty on Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET.
