The 2025 Kia WNBA Skills Challenge featured a loaded field that included Cloud, Wheeler, Allisha Gray, Courtney Williams and Skylar Diggins.

The five players competed in an obstacle course that tested their dribbling, bounce pass, chest pass and outlet pass skills, along with making a shot from the elbow, a three-pointer from the top of the arc and a corner three. They had to dodge obstacles on the court, including a 2025 Kia Sorento Hybrid—fitting for the event. The two players with the fastest times advanced to a head-to-head final round.

Cloud, a 10-year WNBA veteran, earned her first All-Star event win Friday night with a thrilling final sprint to the finish to claim the trophy.

After Cloud nailed the winning layup with just 1.1 seconds remaining, Wheeler rushed over to embrace her, followed by Liberty teammate Sabrina Ionescu and Cloud’s girlfriend and fellow Liberty player Isabelle Harrison.

Cloud’s New York Liberty entered the break riding high off their 2024 WNBA title, boasting a 15-6 record, the best in the Eastern Conference.

She’s put together a strong season so far, averaging 9.9 points, 3.7 rebounds and 6.0 assists per game while shooting 42.2 percent from the field and 31.6 percent from beyond the arc.

The former WNBA champion and three-time All-Defensive selection will look to carry that momentum into the second half, which tips off Tuesday when the Liberty face the Indiana Fever.
