Red Sox's Alex Cora Says He Was at Coldplay Concert, Witnessed Viral Video of Couple

The internet has been abuzz for two days over a viral video stemming from Coldplay's concert Wednesday at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, where a couple caught on camera was seen hiding themselves from the shot's gaze.

When asked how his All-Star Break went, Boston Red Sox manager Alex Cora said he was at the concert when that occurred, revealing the news with a smile and a laugh.

After the couple appeared, Coldplay singer Chris Martin said from stage: "Oh, what. Either they’re having an affair or they’re very shy." Allegations have since surfaced that the man and woman could very well be having an affair.

It was an interesting moment for Cora to witness, but he has greater concerns to deal with.

Of note, his Red Sox won 10 straight leading into the All-Star Break, giving the team a 53-45 record and a second-place spot in the American League wild card race. Boston also entered Friday just three games back of the Toronto Blue Jays for first place in the AL East, with the second-place New York Yankees separating the two.
